Hopes and dreams come in all shapes and sizes. Being able to reach goals and achieve dreams takes work – sometimes hard work. To get where you want to be and have what you desire, you need to attract success. Success doesn’t automatically find you, stop by and rap on your door. You need to focus on what success is for you and put things in place that will attract success. Open your door wide and let success come into your business and personal life.

Everyone wants to be successful at something, but not everyone will achieve success. Maybe you want to lose 10 pounds for some big social event you will attend. Maybe you want to be able to get a bigger house or apartment where your family can live more comfortably. A lot of people have dreams of a better, sportier car to drive around in. Perhaps you want to have a thriving small business with several locations. Or, maybe you want to set your business up in a franchise model. Maybe your dream is just to increase your profits and income.

Without opening your door, your heart and your mind to what success looks like to you, you may find yourself weighed down with disappointment and failure. Hopes and dreams are not enough to attract success. It takes more: goals, dreams and visions are all a part of making your dreams into reality.

Focus on your dreams and goals. Write them down. Put them somewhere that you will see them regularly to keep them in the front of your mind. Use them as filters for everything you do. “If I do this, will it get me closer to my vision of success?” If not, what will get you closer to attracting the success you dream about? Do that instead. Write down your dreams for your small business. What are your hopes for the future of your business? Be specific. Make them crystal clear; clear enough that you can actually visualize them. Maybe you want to build up your reputation and be more in the spotlight than you have been thus far. What is going to make you feel like you have attracted success to yourself and your business?
Jot down what it will take for you to achieve the success you want. To reach your goals, will you need to take a course or two to improve your skill level? Will you need to hire help to get you to the level you desire? Is your firm’s technology not where you need it to be to achieve success? Think about it, you will need to formulate a strategy – or two – to get you to your vision of success. Success doesn’t just happen, it takes persistence and hard work. It requires some systematic preparation to get you up the hill to your vision. No magic wands, no miracle pills will attract success to you. You have to make it happen.
Believe in yourself. Just dreaming about success isn’t enough. Admit it: you need to believe that you can attract success and achieve your goals. Henry Ford said: “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.” Your ability to attract success is based on your own faith and willingness to work to make it happen. Don’t let fear of failure get in your way. Failure is not the end, but just a way to learn something new.
Set Realistic Expectations. You have a whopping big phantasmagorical vision of what you want to be and how you want your business to succeed. Nothing wrong with that, but planning to get there in a series of steps will help you not get frustrated when Success is too far down the road. Things don’t usually change overnight; dreams take time and effort to achieve.

Think about it, how do you need to put your life in order to climb your personal mountain to Success. Leaning on your hand, gazing up at the sky isn’t going to get you the Success you want. It’s up to you to do the necessary planning to get you from where you are today to where you really want to be. It is you who has to figure out how to achieve the goals necessary to attract Success and move you constantly in its direction.
Plan Steps to Take. If growing your small business into a multi-million dollar company, things need to change. To get started, identify what things need to change to begin increasing your revenue stream. You might add a couple of new products/services to your customer options. Or, you decide might attract new customers – who will spend more. As another option, you can raise your prices. Only you will know which or a combination of these options can get you to your goal quickest.
Attract Success that is Sustainable. Going through the motions in the steps above isn’t enough. Ideally, your efforts need to attract Success that will last – and keep growing. You have options, you just have to decide which will be more beneficial in your quest for greater Success.

Stop sitting around daydreaming. Get serious. It is beyond the right time for you to open yourself up to success. You deserve it, so welcome it with open arms. That is the only way to attract the kind of Success you want for your small business. Success is never going to sneak up behind you, put its hands over your eyes and say: “Guess who?” Of course, you can attract it, but only if you let it know what you are interested in accomplishing.
